<image:title>Heel Pain - Heel pain is one of the most common foot and ankle conditions. It is commonly caused by inflammation (swelling) of a ligament that extends from the heel to the toes. The most common causes are abnormal architecture (Flat foot/ High arch), increased activity, and wearing non-supportive shoes. The pain can be so severe that it can cause one to limb with their first step.</image:title>

<image:title>Tendon - There are 26 bones, 30 joints, and more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments. They all have to work in harmony to allow for balance, support, and locomotion. The foot and ankle is designed to handle hundreds of tons of force every day. The average adult takes about 5000 steps a day. When one starts to consider the amount of stress and weight we place on our feet everyday, it’s easy to see how most people will experience foot injuries during their lifetime.</image:title>
